Time Evaluation For Concurrent Employment
(RPTIME01 Report)
You can use the RPTIME01 time evaluation report (Time Evaluation for Concurrent Employment) to evaluate your employees’ time data if you have concurrently employed persons at your company and you use the Time Evaluation component to evaluate their time data.
If you evaluate concurrently employed persons’ time data, the RPTIME01 report (Time Evaluation for Concurrent Employment) replaces the functions of the RPTIME01 report (Time Evaluation).
You can continue to use the RPTIME00 report only for organizational units in which no concurrently employed persons are evaluated. In this case, however, you must ensure that no organizational reassignments are planned for concurrently employed persons to move to this area and that you schedule separate background processing jobs for the time evaluation runs of RPTIME00 and RPTIME01.

The RPTIME01 report has the same features as the RPTIME00 report. The following information provides you with an overview of the aspects in which the functions of the RPTIME01 report differ from those of the RPTIME00 report.
For more
information about the RPTIME00 time evaluation report, see
Time Evaluation Using
RPTIME00.
You run the RPTIME01 report using the PNPCE logical database. The PNPCE logical database automatically finds all of an employee’s active personnel assignments and makes the relevant data available for the evaluation.
If an employee has more than one personnel assignment, the RPTIME01 report always evaluates all of the employee’s active personnel assignments together. All you have to do is enter the personnel number in the report selection screen. The RPTIME01 report then automatically finds all the personnel assignments that belong to the employee.
In addition to the selection options available until now in the RPTIME00 report, you can run the RPTIME01 report using an employee’s person ID.
Time Evaluation for Concurrent Employment is run using the personnel calculation schemas for time evaluation. As for the RPTIME00 report, you can specify a log variant and trigger forced recalculations.
Only the Display log and Test run program options are available.
Time Evaluation for Concurrent Employment is also able to perform recalculations. To ensure that personnel assignments are still able to be processed jointly in the case of a recalculation, you have to ensure that the earliest recalculation dates for pair formation and time evaluation are identical for the relevant organizational units.

For more information, see the Implementation Guide for Personnel Time Management and choose Time Evaluation ® Concurrent Employment in Time Evaluation ® Set Up Time Evaluation Using RPTIME01 ® Synchronize Earliest Recalculation Dates.
You must also ensure that the same earliest personal recalculation date for time evaluation is set in the Payroll Status infotype (0003) for employees with more than one personnel assignment.
The start date for Time Evaluation for Concurrent Employment is calculated from the earliest date of all relevant recalculation dates. Inactive personnel assignments do not trigger recalculations.
As in the RPTIME00 report, the RPTIME01 report also locks all personnel numbers it is processing so that they cannot be processed in other applications. If an employee has more than one personnel assignment, all personnel assignments are locked for the runtime of the RPTIME01 report.
Conversely, the personnel assignments to be evaluated must not be in processing in another application, such as master data maintenance. If this is the case, RPTIME01 terminates processing for the employee and all of his or her personnel assignments.
All results of a time evaluation run are stored for each personnel assignment/personnel number in the database tables on the B1 and B2 clusters.
The Origin field in the ERT and FEHLER tables shows the personnel assignment that caused a message. To display the field, go to the detail view of the table entry.
If the RPTIME01 report encounters an error situation that requires time evaluation to terminate, it ends processing for that personnel assignment and all other personnel assignments of that employee.
You cannot evaluate the employee’s time data for all personnel assignments until you have corrected the error situation.
