1.

Display the objects.

2.

From the ALV, select the row corresponding to the document for which you want to create a check-in activity.

From the hierarchy tree, select the object corresponding to the document for which you want to create a check-in activity.

From the ALV tool bar, choose  and then Create check-in activity from the pop-up menu.

The Create Vehicle dialog box appears.

Right-click the icon to the left of the object representing the document for which you want to create a check-in activity and choose Create check-in activity from the pop-up menu.

The Create Vehicle dialog box appears.

Follow steps 3-12 in Creating a Standalone Vehicle.

You must enter a location class and location for the vehicle.

A vehicle is created, assigned to the document and is checked-in to the yard.

A check-in activity is created for the vehicle.

Vehicles

1.

Display the objects.

2.

From the ALV, select one or more rows corresponding to the vehicles for which you want to create check-in activities.

From the hierarchy tree, select one or more objects corresponding to the vehicles for which you want to create check-in activities.

3.

From the ALV tool bar, choose  and then Create check-in activity from the pop-up menu.

The Create Check-In Activity dialog box appears

Right-click the icon to the left of the object representing the vehicle for which you want to create a check-in activity and choose Create check-in activity from the pop-up menu.

If you have selected more than one object, right-click the icon to the left of any of the objects.

In the Dest. Location field, choose a checkpoint from the checkbox.

If you want the check-in activities to be automatically confirmed, leave Auto-confirmation selected.

6.

Choose  to verify the data.

7.

Choose Enter.

Check-in activities are created for the selected vehicles.
