Creating a Check-In Activity 
You can create check-in activities for vehicles and documents via the yard monitor.

Display the objects. |

From the ALV, select the row corresponding to the document for which you want to create a check-in activity. |
From the hierarchy tree, select the object corresponding to the document for which you want to create a check-in activity. |

the ALV tool bar, choose The Create Vehicle dialog box appears. |
Right-click the icon to the left of the object representing the document for which you want to create a check-in activity and choose Create check-in activity from the pop-up menu. The Create Vehicle dialog box appears. |

Follow steps 3-12 in Creating a Standalone Vehicle.
You must enter a location class and location for the vehicle. A vehicle is created, assigned to the document and is checked-in to the yard. A check-in activity is created for the vehicle. |

From the ALV, select one or more rows corresponding to the vehicles for which you want to create check-in activities. |
From the hierarchy tree, select one or more objects corresponding to the vehicles for which you want to create check-in activities. |

Right-click the icon to the left of the object representing the vehicle for which you want to create a check-in activity and choose Create check-in activity from the pop-up menu. If you have selected more than one object, right-click the icon to the left of any of the objects. The Create Check-In Activity dialog box appears |

In the Dest. Location field, choose a checkpoint from the checkbox. |

If you want the check-in activities to be automatically confirmed, leave Auto-confirmation selected. |

Choose Enter. Check-in activities are created for the selected vehicles. |
