Closing for Profit Tax Accounting
To calculate your company's profit for the purposes of calculating profit tax, you are required, at the end of the fiscal period, to adjust the revenues and expenses in accordance with profit tax accounting regulations. For these purposes, you use this report.
To access the report, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose
You have made the settings for the report described in Customizing for Profit Tax.
The report allocates and rolls up the profit tax documents using the standard functions (see Allocation and Rollup). It also uses one localized report, Provisions for Doubtful Receivables, which posts such provisions according to profit tax accounting regulations.
The report reads the profit tax documents from the source special purpose ledger (see Generation of Profit Tax Documents), calculates which adjustments are to be made, and makes the adjustment posting to a series of other special ledgers. The report collates the data from all the special tax ledgers in another special tax ledger, and then transfers the data from there to yet another special ledger, from which you prepare the profit tax return using the Profit Tax Return report.
