Display of Posted Values for Accruals 

Use

This report shows posted and/or simulated accrual values. To do so, the report selects the data from the Accrual Engine.

 

Features

You can start the report with the following options:

·        Display Actual and Simulated Values (Simulate Future Postings):
If you run this report for a key date, the actual values that have already been posted up to this key date are selected as well as any simulated postings.

·        Display Actual Values Only:
With this option, only the data that has actually been posted is displayed.
You cannot enter a key date. This is because the Accrual Engine stores the posted totals values for each fiscal year only.

·        Display Simulated Values Only:
You can also simulate the data without displaying any posted values.

In the last two cases, the term simulate means that (future) postings are carried forward based on the current settings.

 

Activities

In the SAP Easy Access menu, choose:

Accounting   ®   Financial Accounting   ®   Lease Accounting   ®   Information System   ®   Report Posting Server Lease Accounting.

You can use the  multiple selection function to enter several single values or value ranges.

Reporting Parameters

       1.      Enter the required key date. Choose the values you want to display in the report:

¡        Simulate Future Postings

¡        Actual Values Only

¡        Simulate Only

Contracts

       2.      Enter the contract numbers that are to be included in the report.

General Selections

       3.      Enter the required company code.

Other Selection Options

       4.      Enter the required fiscal year.

       5.      Use the input help to choose the accrual type and accounting principle.

Output Format

       6.      Choose the desired output format.

If you need to restrict your selections further, you can do so by choosing  Dynamic selections.

 

       7.      Choose   Execute.

 

Output

The posted and/or simulated accrual values are displayed as fiscal year totals for each contract.

If you selected SAP List Viewer or ABAP list as the output format, you can view the line items by double-clicking a line in the list. The settings you made earlier (actual values only/actual and simulated values/simulate only and key date) are taken into account.
