Dispatch Control 

Definition

You define the basic options for dispatching correspondence in the dispatch control.

Use

You can define the print parameters and make other settings within the dispatch control.

In the IMG activity Assign Correspondence Types to Correspondence Activities and Roles you define the default values for dispatch control for a correspondence type. You can change these in the application when you create correspondence if you need to.

Note that if you have defined a printer for the dispatch control in Customizing and use this dispatch control for the creation of correspondence you cannot change or override this predefined printer in the application.

If you only want to define the printer in the application you need to use a dispatch control in which no printer is preset. You can use the templates for the dispatch types MANU (assign printer manually) and STND (standard printer).
