Procedure documentation Entering Detail Data for a Concept Group Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

The detail data of a concept group contains information that is valid for all assigned concepts.

Prerequisites

You are editing the data for the concept reference on the detail screen of a component variant (Basic Data 1).

Procedure

  1. In the Concept Reference dataset, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Detail View) for the concept group.

The tab page with the list of concepts appears. Other tab pages are displayed.
  1. Select the tab page you want to edit.

Create concept

On the Concepts tab page, you create concepts for the individual realization options.

Classify concept group

You classify the concept group on the Classification tab page. You can classify a concept group in classes of class type 053 (iPPE Nodes).

  • Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Classification.
  • In the Assignments dataset, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Insert Line. Display the possible entries for the class and select a class.
  • When you confirm the class, the characteristics of the class are added to the Values dataset.
    You can assign values to the characteristics for the concept group here.

Display basic data

On the Basic data tab page, display the administration data.

 

  1. Once you have entered your data on a tab page, confirm your entries.
  1. To save your data, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Result

You have maintained the detail data for the concept group. You can now enter the concepts, where you maintain data for the individual realization options.
