When you create a company code using the country template for the United Kingdom, the system assigns it the chart of depreciation 1GB, which follows the accounting requirements in the UK. However, the sample chart of depreciation 0GB is also delivered for the UK. To meet your business needs, we recommend that you use this chart of depreciation as a reference. You can copy and adapt it based on the individual structure and requirements of your company. To do so, in Customizing for Financial Accounting, choose Asset Accounting ® Organizational Structures ® Copy Reference Chart of Depreciation/Depreciation Areas.
