Questionnaire with Evaluable Information
(Example)
You are using a requisition to help find a Chief Buyer for the Pharmaceutical Industry. To find out more detailed information about candidates’ employment activities to date, want them to reply to the questionnaire Job Requirements, which contains questions about their employment background. For this reason, you want to integrate the EEO questionnaire in the application wizard menu to enable candidates to complete it as part of their application materials. Furthermore, candidates should not be able to send off the questionnaire without having responded to certain mandatory questions.
In a further step, you want the E-Recruiting System to rate the candidates’ responses and generate a list in which the candidates are sorted by suitability and all suitable candidates are flagged as such.
The following processes take place:
· You create the questions and the questionnaire.
· You integrate the questionnaire in the application wizard menu.
· The candidates complete the questionnaire.
· You perform an automatic ranking of the candidates and a list is generated in which the candidates are sorted according to suitability.
You create a new questionnaire of the category Evaluable Information. You enter the title Work Experience and create a series of questions and associated responses. You flag the question How much experience do you have in project management? as mandatory, that is, the candidate must respond to it. Thus, the candidate cannot submit the questionnaire without having answered this question.
Finally, you view the questions and responses and assign rating marks for the system-supported ranking. You should put a lot of thought into this so as to achieve a meaningful result. You flag the response Yes as the expected response to the question Have you had experience moderating a workshop? because this is the required response if the candidate is to be considered suitable at all.
The questions and responses are as follows in our example:

You draft an introduction for the questionnaire. In the introduction, you explain the purpose of the questionnaire and how to complete it. You view the finished questionnaire in the Preview and then release it. It is now available for use.
To display the questionnaire in the application wizard, you must integrate the questionnaire in a process template, which you then assign to a requisition.
You create a process template and assign the activity type Questionnaire in Application Form to it.
You assign your questionnaire to the activity type.
When you have created the process template, you assign it to your requisition. The questionnaire is displayed to candidates in the application wizard under the menu entry Job Requirements when you release the requisition.
Candidates apply for the job posting associated with your requisition. They find a link to the questionnaire in the menu of the application wizard which leads them through the application process. The candidates read the Instructions, complete the questionnaire and save it. You can save the questionnaire if you have answered the question How much experience do you have in project management? The response options available to the candidate depend on the predefined response type: either single choice, multiple choice, or free text. Once saved, the questionnaire cannot be changed by the candidate. They can view their entries in the application overview at any time.
You choose Ranking by Questionnaire under Candidate Selection for the requisition Chief Buyer for Pharmaceutical Industry. When you select the questionnaire title Job Requirements, a list of candidates is output who completed the questionnaire and the total score achieved by each one on the basis of their answers. The list is sorted by candidate rating from the top score down.
Candidates that have given the expected response to the question Have you had experience moderating a workshop? are flagged as suitable.
You can display the completed questionnaire to gain an overall impression of each candidate’s responses.
