There are two versions of the sales summary in Sales Support. The advanced version in HTML format is for viewing data on individual customers in address lists and sales activities. The standard version is for displaying a sales summary for a range of customers or characteristics.
To display the advanced sales summary for an individual customer:
Note that when there is more than one customer listed in a sales activity, the system will display the different sales summaries, one after the other, for the customers (they do not necessarily have to be sold-to parties). The system also lists these customers in the Customer field in the sales summary header.
To display a standard sales summary for a range of customers/characteristics:
You must enter a sales organization, but not necessarily a distribution channel or division.
If you want to display the sales summary for customers in a particular number range, enter this range of numbers in the Customer number fields.
To select customers according to particular criteria (for example, birthday of the contact person, partner function), choose Dynamic selections. Define your selection criteria with any of the fields in the customer master. Save your settings and return to the initial screen. To take your settings into account, select the Dynamic selections checkbox. In this case, you do not need to specify any customer numbers.
The system selects the customers and data that match your selection criteria and sets up the sales summary on the basis of this information.
