You can create the equipment requirement as a separate building block.

You can create the equipment requirement within an existing recipe.

This procedure describes how you create an equipment requirement within an existing recipe. For more information about how you create an equipment requirement as a separate building block, see Creating Recipe Building Blocks.

Prerequisites

You have created the objects and process elements to which you want to assign equipment requirements, or whose equipment requirements you wish to change. For more prerequisites, see Equipment Requirement.

Procedure

Creating Equipment Requirements

...

       1.      Load the recipe for which you want to create an equipment requirement.

       2.      Choose the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Equip. Requirements tab page.

       3.      Use one of the following methods to specify the process elements to which you want to assign the equipment requirement:

Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Copy Process Hierarchy.

All existing process elements of the recipe are copied to the table automatically and are assigned item numbers. You can use this as a template for the equipment requirement entries.

Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Append Row or This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Insert Row and enter the object to which you want to assign the equipment requirements. With an action, for example, specify the relevant stage and operation too.

       4.      Enter the item number of the equipment requirement.

Note

You can also let the system assign the item number. After you confirm, the system numbers the equipment requirements without an item number automatically in intervals of ten. If you insert a row between two rows that have already been filled in a process element, the system calculates the number between the filled rows, first in intervals of ten and then in intervals of five.

You can automatically renumber the numbers in steps of ten after you have entered them by choosing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Renumber.

       5.      Enter a description for the equipment requirement if necessary and choose a class.

Note

Only classes of class type 019 are used. You can assign only one class to an equipment requirement.

       6.      Confirm and save your entries.

If a class description has already been assigned, it is displayed. The tab pages for entering data are displayed below the table.

       7.      Choose the relevant tab pages and enter the required data.

       8.      Save your entries.

Changing Equipment Requirements

...

       1.      Load the recipe whose equipment requirements you want to change.

       2.      Choose the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Equip. Requirements tab page.

       3.      In the table, double-click the equipment requirement you want to edit.

       4.      The tab pages for entering data are displayed below the table.

       5.      Enter the required data on the tab pages and save your entries.

For more information about the process parameters, see Process Parameters.
