Infotype Work Stopped (F) (0424) 

Definition

This infotype is designed to let you enter a work stoppage that will trigger the calculation of Social Security sick pay (IJSS) for the purposes of compensating for the employee’s absence.

The existing sub-types are as follows:

●        MAL for sickness

●        ATT for accident at work

●        MAT for maternity and parental leave

 

A work stoppage linked to sickness or an accident at work is created and edited in this infotype while a stoppage for maternity or parental leave is generated and only displayed in this infotype following entry of a Maternity/Parental leave infotype (0080).

Use

Various legal reporting statements – accident at work declaration (RPLDATF2), pay slips for payment of Social Security sick pay (IJSS) (RPLASMF3, RPLASAF3) - are based on the data entered in this infotype.

 

The main features of this infotype are:

●        entry of specific information on the work stoppage

Identification of a work stoppage means that each stoppage may be identified, in particular in cases of a relapse/extension.

The start and end date of the stoppage must tally with the dates appearing on the work stoppage certificate issued by the doctor.

 

Note:

for accidents at work and sickness, absences shorter than one day may be entered, in which case you enter the start and end time as well as the date. This entry is for information purposes only. According to legal provisions, this absence is rated as a full day of absence.

●        Social Security sick pay (IJSS)

This infotype is used to calculate the Social Security sick pay (Indemnités Journalières de Sécurité Sociale – IJSS) entitlement for an employee who has stopped work, based on the employee’s gross salary prior to the stoppage. This reference period varies depending on the sub-type.

The system reads the data in this infotype in order to manage an employee’s absence compensation quotas.

 

Integration

The number stored in work stoppage identification is used to identify the stoppage compensated upon receipt of an IJSS Summary (0425).
