Global Assignment Phase 
In this phase, the home manager, who acts as a contact person for the global employee, makes sure he/she gets paid correctly, that any salary adjustments subsequent to promotions and to certain life events are supported, and that the standard administrative tasks are performed.
Note
If implemented, you
can use the
Payroll for Global
Employees component to run payroll in the home as well as in the host
country, in which case the payroll data is exchanged in the form of wage
types.
You must have activated the relevant global assignment, as described in Assignment Activation.
The global assignment starts as of the activation date.
The global employee now works in the host country under a new personnel assignment and his or her data is mainly administered in the host country. Shortly before the end of the assignment, his or her repatriation will have to be triggered.
