Transforming Master
Recipes 
You use this procedure to create a master recipe from a general recipe. When you do so, you use the general recipe as a template only.
You have made the necessary settings in Customizing for transforming master recipes.

1. Start transaction MRTRS_START.
2. Enter the following general recipe data:
¡ RFC destination, if required
¡ Name of the recipe object
¡ Key date
3. Enter the following master recipe data:
¡ (Task list) group and group counter, if required
¡ Production version number, if required
¡ Plant
¡ Profile
¡ Status (of a task list)
¡ (Task list) usage
¡ Control recipe destination
¡ Key date
¡ Change number, if required
4. Enter the transformation group.
5. If you want to save this data as a template, choose Goto ® Variants ® Save as Variant.
6.
Choose
with the quick info Execute.
7. Choose the general recipe stages that the system is to transform to master recipe operations. Choose Selected Stages or All Stages.
8. Specify the reference quantity, if necessary.
9. Change the master recipe data by double-clicking the relevant nodes.
10.
Assign
a unique primary resource to the master recipe operations displayed in green.
Choose
with the quick info Resource List. (For
more information, see Transformation
Process).
11. You can display the bill of material by choosing Materials List.
12. Save the master recipe.
You have generated a master recipe from a general recipe. You can edit the master recipe by choosing Master Recipes ®Change Recipes and Material List.
