Planning of Measurement Projects
With this process you lay down the scope of your measurement project, generate the measurements, and create the measurement plan.
You have created the measurement project you want to plan as described under Creation of Measurement Projects.
The work areas for which you want to perform measurements exist in work area management (EHS-IHS-WA). The agents you want to measure exist in specification management (EHS-BD-SPE).
Measurement planning includes the following process phases:
...
1. You add the work areas for which you want to perform measurements to the measurement project. If you created the measurement project as a follow-on project, delete copied work areas or add new ones as required.
2. For the assigned work areas you specify which agents are to be measured.
3. You assign the measurement methods to the agents you want to measure and specify the number of day and night measurements to be performed for each measurement method.
4. You generate the measurements and enter their basic data.
5. You create the measurement plan (see Measurement Project Reports).
