Procedure documentation Opening the Yard Scheduling Chart Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

Before you open the yard scheduling chart, you can determine the following:

·        The yard for which you want to schedule locations

·        The time period and locations for which you can manage scheduling activities

 

Prerequisites

If you want to set a default yard for which the scheduling chart will open, do the following:

...

       1.      From the menu, choose System ® User Profile ® Own Data.

       2.      Enter the following parameter and value:

¡        Parameter ID: LXYRD_LYARD

¡        Parameter value: yard number

 

Procedure

...

       1.      From the SAP Easy Access menu, choose Logistics ® Logistics Execution ® Yard Management ® Scheduling Chart.

Note

You can also open the yard scheduling chart by choosing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text from the yard monitor tool bar.

       2.      If you want to change the yard for which the scheduling chart is to open, enter a new yard number in the Yard field.

Note

If you have only defined one yard, the yard number automatically appears in this field.

       3.      Determine the time period for which you want to manage scheduling activities.

You can set this time period as:

¡        From one of the following:

§         The current time

§         The previous x months/weeks/days/hours/minutes

§         A particular date and time

¡        To one of the following:

§         The current time

§         The next y months/weeks/days/hours/minutes

§         A particular date and time

       4.      You can enter selection criteria to further refine the locations for which you can manage scheduling activities.

       5.      Execute.

 

Result

The yard scheduling chart opens as a bar chart, displaying the following:

·        The relevant location classes and locations in the tables area

·        The specified time period in the time units line

·        Existing scheduling activities for the relevant locations in the graph display area
