An inventory refers to valuables stored in warehouses that has some value attached to it and that can be used as collateral. Examples of inventory collateral objects include raw materials or vehicles in a warehouse. In addition to the master data common for all collateral objects, the following additional information can be maintained for the busienss specific to inventory:

Identification

This screen includes the following sections:

Header Data

You can specify the identification details such as the internal identification used by the bank, the type of bank identification, the warehouse identification and the country whose law is applicable for managing the inventory. In addition, you can specify the category (such as animals or vehicles) to which the inventory belongs and if the inventory has accessories of additional value.

Base Location

Specify the place where the inventory is located in this section.

Street Address

In this section, you can enter the complete address for the base location of the inventory.

Item List and Stock

In this screen, you can list each item of the inventory in the table Parts/Positions/Items and specify a part type to which it is attached. You can enter the individual values for each inventory item and also the total value of the inventory by summing up the individual values of the items. You can also specify the valuation details such as frequency and date of valuation of the inventory.
