Basic Data (EHS-WA-BD) 

Purpose

In this SAP component, you describe wastes from a logistics, physical-chemical, and legal point of view. You also enter the waste catalogs and waste codes, which are important for describing waste from a legal point of view, in this SAP component.

Integration

The functions of the following SAP components are used in the basic data:

·        Basic Data and Tools (EHS-BD)

·        Materials Management

·        Dangerous Goods Management (EHS-DGP)

You must install the SAP components Basic Data and Tools and Materials Management along with the SAP Basic Data component so that you can enter waste data. You must install the SAP Dangerous Goods Management component if your wastes are dangerous goods and you want to use the Dangerous Goods Management functions.
