Additional DSD Data: Vehicle Data 

Use

You can use this function to enter additional vehicle data in the vehicle master record (equipment/fleet master). If you choose the DSD Vehicle Data tab page within the vehicle master, you can maintain the additional vehicle data required by the DSD backend.

Integration

The DSD-specific vehicle data is integrated with the ERP equipment/vehicle master. The additional vehicle data is found on the DSD Vehicle Data tab page.

Prerequisites

You need to perform the following Customizing activities to be able to use the DSD-specific vehicle master data:

·        Activate Direct Store Delivery and, if required, Vehicle Space Optimization

·        Assign means-of-transport type to equipment category and vehicle type

Features

You can enter the following vehicle data on the DSD Vehicle Data tab page:

·        Trailor load

·        Set indicator for your own vehicle or an external vehicle

·        Variable capacity

·        Vehicle type for vehicle space optimization (VSO vehicle type), provided you have activated vehicle space optimization.

·        Transportation planning points

·        Driver’s license categories

·        Lock period(s)
