In order to use scheduling and to reduce capacity requirements, you have to make the necessary settings in Customizing for Production ® C apacity Requirements Planning ® C apacity leveling and extended evaluation (see Settings and Profiles for Capacity Leveling). The overall profile for capacity leveling is saved in the project profile.

• Capacity Leveling in the Capacity Planning Menu
• Calling up capacity leveling from scheduling (date planning) or structure planning
• Accessing Capacity Leveling in the Project Planning Board

If you have called up the tabular or graphic planning board, you can dispatch capacity requirements or use several other Functions in Capacity Leveling. These are described in detail in Functions in the Graphic Planning Board or Functions in the Tabular Planning Board.
