Object documentation Personnel Cost Plan Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Definition

Refers to all the plan data you create in a defined period for a specific planning scenario based on a particular data basis.

Use

You use the personnel cost plan in different ways depending on the various Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation subprocesses:

·        You create a personnel cost plan after data collection. You thereby define all information needed to generate plan data such as the planning scenario, planning period, and data basis. If you want to compare several planning scenarios, you require several personnel cost plans.

·        You execute one or more cost planning runs for the personnel cost plan. You thereby generate plan data for this personnel cost plan.

·        At the end of the planning process, the peronnel cost plan contains all relevant plan data that you want to make available for subsequent processes. You can transfer the personnel cost plan to Controlling, for example.

Structure

A personnel cost plan consists of one or more cost planning runs. Each cost planning run contains the personnel costs for particular cost units. Cost objects are assigned to the cost units.

Integration

·        Each personnel cost plan is assigned to a plan version.

·        Each personnel cost plan relates to a particular planning scenario.

·        Each personnel cost plan uses a particular data basis.

Example

The following figure shows an example of two personnel cost plans that are assigned to the same plan version. The personnel cost plans are based on different planning scenarios:
