Function documentation Tab Pages Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

As a customer, as soon as you log on, you go to the main screen of the Internet application. On this screen, trading contracts are displayed in various tab pages according to their status in the SAP System of the trading company.

From this screen, you can go to all subsequent screens and execute the required transactions. As soon as you have completed a transaction, you return to the main screen.

Customizing the Tab Pages

You can define which tab pages are displayed for the customer in the Internet application and what information is contained in these tab pages.

Tab Pages in the Standard System

The following tab pages are provided in the standard system:

Tab page

Status of the trading contract in the SAP System

Inbound (quotations)

Open - most recent change by trader

Outbound (inquiries)

Open - most recent change by customer

Released contracts

Released

Closed contracts

Closed

If the customer logs on to the Internet application, the tab page Inbound is displayed.

This tab page contains trading contracts with the status open, which were last processed in your company's SAP System, and which can now be processed by the customer. Contracts with this status are described as quotations from the trading company.

The customer can choose Details to display the detailed information and history, and accept, change, or delete the quotation.

The tab page Outbound contains a list of trading contracts with the status open, that were last changed by the customer and are awaiting action by the trading company. Contracts with this status are described as inquiries from the company.

As soon as the customer creates a new inquiry, or changes a quotation, and sends it to your company, this appears in the tab page Outbound.

The customer can choose Details to display detailed information and the history, and, if necessary, change or delete the inquiry.

The tab page Released contracts contains trading contracts with the status released.

As soon as the customer accepts a quotation from your company, the trading contract created for this in the SAP System of your company is assigned the status released. This is now binding, which means that follow-on activities such as the creation of a purchase order and sales order, are triggered for the contract.

The customer can choose Details to display detailed information and the history, and display the follow-on documents that were created in the SAP System of your company.
