Triggering the Automatic Consistency Check for a Recipe 

Use

The consistency check indicates that a recipe is consistent if the result of the check is positive. This is an important requirement for the release process.

Prerequisites

·        You have specified which views are relevant for consistency under Set Up and Activate Formula Views in Customizing for Recipe Management.

·        You have loaded the recipe whose consistency you want to check.

Procedure

       1.      Choose the  Consistency Check function on the  Basic Data tab page of the recipe.

       2.      The system performs the consistency check.

If the check is positive, the system sets the Consistent indicator. If the recipe is not consistent, the application log displays information explaining why the consistency check was negative.
