Function documentation Time Evaluation Schema Processing for Concurrent Employment Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

This function controls how the individual processing steps of Time Evaluation for Concurrent Employment are processed.

Integration

You can continue to use your existing Customizing settings for schema processing with some adjustments.

Prerequisites

You have customized Time Evaluation.

Features

Importing data

To evaluate an employee’s time data, the RPTIME01 report reads all relevant master data, status data, and results data from the previous time evaluation runs. It references all of the employee’s active personnel assignments to do so.

For more information, see the SAP Library and choose Personnel Time Management ® Time Evaluation ® Time Evaluation Using RPTIME00 ® Structure linkPrerequisites for the Evaluation of Time Data and Structure linkDistribution of Tasks Between Report RPTIME00 and Schema Processing.

Relevant blocks of the schema

Only the Day Processing of Time Data part can be processed using the framework of business subjects.

Note

For more information, see Framework of Business Subjects.

The Initialization block (between the BINI and EINI time evaluation functions) and the Final Processing block (between the BEND and EEND functions) are processed by Time Evaluation for Concurrent Employment for each personnel assignment separately.

Note

As a consequence, the LIMIT function, for example, can process only individual personnel assignments if you use it in final processing.

Processing of time evaluation processing steps

Time Evaluation for Concurrent Employment processes the individual schema rows as defined in the time evaluation schema for all personnel assignments in the predefined sequence. Each individual schema row in day processing is processed for all of an employee’s active personnel assignments.

Exporting data

The RPTIME01 report exports the results determined for each personnel assignment to the related cluster tables. You can use distribution methods to define how you want the results from joint processing to be distributed over the individual personnel assignments.
