Pay scale jumps due to age 

Possible uses

The management of pay scale jumps due to age is carried out through wage types which are inserted into infotype 0008. Into infotype 0159 those data are inserted, which relate to the updating of the employee’s seniority level.  Such data are processed through a report which verifies if there are employees whose pay scale jump accrual date lies within the processed month, and obtains the amounts of the pay scale jumps, which are necessary for completing the employee's fixed salary. At the same time it updates the date of next pay scale jump, as well as number and percentage according to the established rules of the related tables.

In case of retroactive variations of remuneration, the report must be run for each recalculated month.

The calculation of pay scale jumps is a part of the payroll run.
