Measured Value-Reference Value Comparison
Use
If the agent you want to assess is a measurable variable, a suitable analysis method is the measured value-reference value comparison. With this method, you compare the measured values you entered in the
amounts function with the corresponding reference values in the SAP EH&S specification database. If the agent to be assessed is a mixture of substances or a combination of single-substance agents, you should use the analysis method
summated rating.Integration
The result of the measured value-reference value comparison is taken into account when the
main rating is calculated.Prerequisites
Customizing
For the system to be able to read the reference values from the specification database, for each measurement item you must specify in Customizing for Industrial Hygiene and Safety in the IMG activity Specify Measurement Items which value assignment type and
characteristic of the property tree the reference value is in. For more information, see the documentation for the IMG activity.
Application
You must have entered the relevant measurements (
amounts) and reference values in the system.Features
Only those amounts you entered for the agent appear.
When you select an amount, the system automatically determines the corresponding reference value from the specification database in the background and places it beside the amount.
You can use the
Rating pushbutton to let the system calculate the rating automatically or assign the rating manually.
You can overwrite the ratings determined by the system.
The user exit responsible for automatic determination is ANLS_RATCP, whose determination routine you can adapt to suit your requirements. The function module CBIH_LB31_COMPUTE_RATING included with the standard system determines the rating according to the following routine:
