Forwarding Trading Contracts for Change (Workflow)

Use

This workflow can be used in the following situations:

A customer, for example, informs you that a particular trading contract they received contains incorrect amounts. As you are not responsible for this, you want to forward the message to another employee.

You can use the transaction Workflow Workbench: Trading Contract to enter an explanation relating to the problem and trigger workflow that automatically determines the person responsible.

You can use the workflow for trading contracts that were created on the Internet. As soon as a customer changes an offering of your trading company in its Internet application, or enters a new inquiry, the trading contract created for this can be automatically forwarded by workflow to the person responsible for processing.

Features

The system determines the person responsible by using the role (user assignment) defined for the workflow scenario, and sends a work item to the integrated inbox of that person. This work item may contain an explanatory text. As the person responsible, you execute the work item and thereby release the document.

You have the following options:

Reject the work item

If you reject the work item, the workflow ends at this point.

Execute the work item

If you execute the work item, the trading contract is displayed in change mode. You can then check the document, and make and save any changes.

In addition, you can also cancel processing. If you do this, you can choose whether to cancel processing or return the work item to your inbox for processing at a later date.
