Use

The Special Account Tax Deduction and Remittance Report shows how much tax you have withheld each day in a given month. You create a copy of the report at the end of each month, for your own reference. You do not need to file the report with the Revenue Department, but they may require to see it in the event of their carrying out an audit.

Activities

Customizing

The summary shows tax that you have withheld under Section 3 of the Revenue Code separately. The system uses income types to identify these withholding tax items. The income types must start 35覧, 36覧, 37覧, or 38覧 for them to be recognized as such by the Generic Withholding Tax Reporting program. In Country Version Thailand, a number of sample income types are provided.

Create withholding tax types and codes that reflect Section 3 of the Revenue Code and assign the appropriate income types to the types.

Periodic Processing

To prepare the summary, execute the Generic Withholding Tax Reporting program and call the standard variant SAP&TH_WTH_REP. This standard variant prints out the summary on the Structure linkSmart Form supplied with Country Version Thailand, IDWTREPT_TH_2.

Once you have called the standard variant, open the Forms group box and choose Print Form 2 (Special Tax Account and Remittance). Enter other data as required.

When you run the program in update mode, the program displays a dialog box, where you can enter the details of the tax that you want to remit to the Revenue Department (see Remitting Withholding Tax). If you do not want to remit the tax at this moment, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The system prints the summary in the approved format. Your own company's details appear in the header. Below that, it prints out a list of the tax withheld each day. For each date it shows:

There is also another box for the tax receipt number; this box is for use by the Revenue Department only.

Note that in order to distinguish between individuals and companies, the Smart Form checks the taxpayers' tax IDs. Those that start 1覧 or 2覧 denote an individual, all others are reserved for companies.
