Off-Cycle Workbench for Concurrent
Employment
User interfaces for performing off-cycle payroll runs, payment replacements, and payment reversals for concurrent employment.

The Off-Cycle Workbench for concurrent employment is only available for Canada, the USA, and country grouping 99 (Other Countries). To call it, use transaction PUOC_<country grouping>_CE, for example, PUOC_07_CE.
You use the Off-Cycle Workbench for concurrent employment to execute the following functions in a system in which concurrent employment is active:
· Displaying payroll results (see Payroll History for Concurrent Employment).
· Performing off-cycle payroll (see Off-Cycle Payroll for Concurrent Employment).
· Replacing a payment effected by check or transfer, which the employee has not received, by a check (see Payment Replacements for Concurrent Employment).
· Reversing an incorrect payroll result (see Reversing Payroll Results for Concurrent Employment).
· Entering the number of the check later in the system for a payroll result for which you have made out a check by hand.

Assigning a
check number with concurrent employment is not different to assigning check
numbers in a system without concurrent employment (See
Assigning Check Number).
The Off-Cycle Workbench for concurrent employment has basically the same structure as the Off-Cycle Workbench in a system without concurrent employment. The user interface only differs in the following points:
· The following elements are displayed in the upper area of the screen:
¡
Person ID field (see
Concurrently Employed Person (External Person
ID)).
¡ Personnel Number field

Whether the Personnel Number field is displayed or not depends on the value you specified in your user profile for the parameter HR_CCURE_PIDSL.
· If you specified - (minus), the Person ID field and the Personnel Number field are displayed.
· If you specified + (plus), the Person ID field is displayed instead of the Personnel Number field.

· The tab pages History, Replace Payment, Reverse Payment, and Assign Check Number have the additional column Concurrent Employment. A symbol is displayed for the payroll results that contain several personnel assignments, which had payroll run for them at the same time. If the payroll result was created for an employee who is not concurrently employed, or if payroll was only run for one personnel assignment of a concurrently employed person (for example, with bonus accounting), this field is empty.
After a payroll
run, payment replacement, or reversal that you carried out in the Off-Cycle
Workbench for concurrent employment, the system performs the off-cycle
subsequent processing. Subsequent
processing in a system with concurrent employment is the same as in a system
without concurrent employment (see
Off-Cycle Subsequent Processing).
The system simply uses the concurrent
employment-enabled version of a program, if one exists.
