Calibration of Appraisal
Documents
A calibration process has the following goals:
· Compare employees' performance feedback that has been created on the basis of the same appraisal template.
· Align employees' valuations and, if necessary, change the appraisal documents as appropriate.
· This process is usually performed in a meeting at manager level. An employee from the HR department who has the necessary authorizations for changing the documents participates in this meeting.
· The calibration process is only available as a Web application.
· Since the calibration process is performed by system administration, the processor must have administrator authorizations.
· Appraisal documents that are based on the same appraisal template exist for those employees whose appraisal documents are to be included in the calibration process.
The calibration process is divided into the following steps:
1.
Specify
employees to be compared
You use the following selection criteria to select the appraisal documents
that are to be included in the process:
a. Appraisal Template
b. Appraisal period
c.
Status of
appraisal documents to be compared
You can specify whether only appraisal documents with the same status are to
be determined or whether documents with any status are to be included in the
comparison.
2.

Selection of appraised employees
To select
employees for the calibration process, call the relevant Business Server
Page.
You can use the following selection options to determine the required
employees:
· Select employees by entering the personnel numbers directly.
· Depending on the selected appraiser, the documents appraised by this appraiser are determined.
· Determine employees according to their assignment to an organizational unit.
Note that the program only determines those employees for which a valid appraisal template exists in the validity period.
To ensure
that the system administrator can create the employee result list in advance,
user-specific variants can be created.
Displaying Results
You can select a maximum of two dimensions to make comparisons. The Final Appraisal column is always used as a basis for one of the two dimensions.
Depending on
your requirements, you can display the results as a table or a graphic.
To branch to the appraisal document, click on the name of the appraisee in the
table. You can adjust the appraisal values as required.
