Shipping of Tremcards
You can output tremcards from shipping and transportation using the output control function in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). This is controlled using the output type TRM.
The system determines the output determination procedure depending on the delivery type. The output determination procedure must contain the condition type TRM so that the system can assign an output with the output type TRM at header level. It is possible to process the output type TRMdependent on a condition (for example, if the Contains dangerous goods indicator is set).
Data Selection
The system checks whether the dangerous goods are being transported without exceeding the exemption limits. To do this it evaluates the dangerous goods indicator profile. If the transport exceeds the exemption limits, tremcards are output in the standard system. You also have the option of adapting this process to your own customer-specific logic. A tremcard is output only if the dangerous goods master record contains a tremcard number. You specify the tremcard number as an identifier under the real substance. See also Single and Group Tremcards.
Language Determination
The tremcard must be carried in the language spoken by the driver and in all official languages of the countries through which the goods are transported. For this, the route is evaluated in the delivery. All stages of the route are taken into account in the transport.
· Languages of countries passed through
To determine the countries passed through, the transit country table is taken into account. For routes with stages and routes without stages in the case of internal domestic transports, the Take Table for Transit Countries into Account indicator must be set to make this possible. The system determines the country of departure from the address of the shipping point and the destination country from the address of the ship-to party.
The relevant languages of the transit countries are then determined according to the settings you have made in Customizing for Product Safety in the IMG activity Assign Language and Lead Time to Country.
· Language of driver
The language of the driver is derived from the driver’s nationality. You can specify the nationality of the driver in the Means of transport data view as a shipping unit. See the documentation for the IMG activity Develop Enhancement for SD Shipping Unit in Customizing for Product Safety. Alternatively you can also specify the driver’s language in delivery under the Dangerous goods supplementary data.
To determine the driver’s language, the system first checks whether an appropriate entry is included in the dangerous goods supplementary data in delivery. If this is not the case, the shipping units are evaluated.
· Key date
The selection date from Dangerous Goods Management is used to read the dangerous goods master and select reports.
· Printer
The standard system uses SD print parameters. This means that in a distributed system landscape, the settings in Customizing for the Logistics and EH&S systems must be identical. It is possible to print out tremcards and delivery notes on the same printer.
· Reprint
Tremcards can be reprinted in individual languages.
