Processing the Worklist in the Workflow Inbox
of a User
The workflow inbox lists the work items where the user has been determined as the processor. The Web workplace is an exact mapping of the Business Workplace in the SAP system.

...
1. On the initial page of the product designer Web application, choose the workflow inbox tab page.
You see a personal list of the work items where you are specified as the recipient. The following information is displayed, so that you can quickly get an overview of the work items:
-
Short text of work item
The short text of the work
item is presented as a link.
- Creation date
- Status of work item
2. Execute the link of the work item for which you want to see further information.
The detail
data of the work item is displayed, such as the task description.
The definition of the workflow task determines the contents and how to
proceed.

If the definition contains a dialog step, processing continues in the Business Workplace. This link is active if the ITS is installed.
You can process definitions with object type Decision directly, by choosing an active button (such as Confirm, or Display iPPE Object). This button is active if an object that is relevant to the Web user interface of the product designer is assigned to the work item.
3. If the work item can only be executed in the Business Workplace, (for example, calling a transaction in the SAP system), you see this information below the task description. In this case, you choose the link Business Workplace. A separate editing screen is opened for processing in the Business Workplace.

If the
system is set up to copy the logon data from the SAP system for logging on to
the ITS for service BWSP, you go straight to the
detail data of the work item. Otherwise, you must enter the logon data first.
Your system administrator may set up Single Sign-On (SSO) for
logon.
4. The detail data is displayed in the Business Workplace. Process this data.
Depending on the status of the work item and the properties of the task behind it, you can execute functions by choosing pushbuttons. For example, you can send the document to another user, or save it to a folder.
Once you have finished processing, finish your work in the ITS processing window.
5. Continue processing the work item in the workflow inbox of the product designer.
Depending on the current status of the work item and the properties of the task behind it, you can execute further functions by choosing pushbuttons, such as Complete.
