Performing Queries
You use this procedure to search for
specifications by performing a query. This contains
the search criteria and steps used to determine specifications. You can start
the search immediately or as a
drilldown reporting
job in the background.

Drilldown reporting jobs are available only for searching for substances or packagings.
● The query has been stored in a query group that you are authorized to display.
● To execute a drilldown reporting job, you also need change authorization for the set of hits group in which you want to save the results of the query as a set of hits.
...
1. Call the recipe workbench and if required, specify the key date or change number for which you want to display the specifications.

You can also specify the key date or change number immediately before you perform the query. However, this initializes the recipe workbench again and you have to call the query again. Therefore, we recommend that you specify the key date or change number in the first step, as described.
2.
In the recipe
workbench, choose the specification category of the specifications you want to
find by double-clicking it in the overview tree, for example,
Recipe, if you want to search for recipes.
The initial screen appears for that specification category.
3. Choose Utilities ® Query ® Load.
A screen with the group overview of the queries appears.
4. Double-click the query you want to perform.
5. If necessary, enter a search period for which the search criteria must be met and confirm your entries.
The specifications determined by the system are displayed in the hit list. If you have entered a search period, the hit list contains the specifications that meet the search criteria on any day within this period. However, the specifications are always displayed on the key date or for the change number.

Starting from the hit list, you can further edit the search result if required. Proceed as described in Searching for Specifications.
