Procedure documentation Performing a Search Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

This function gives you fast access to the data you want to search for.

Prerequisites

You have navigated to the search area of the application you want to use.

Procedure

Searching for Favorites or Previously-Saved Queries

       1.      Click the arrow to the right of the Show field.

A dropdown list box appears with the standard query My Favorites or your other previously-saved queries.

       2.      Select the query you need to perform your search.

The system immediately starts searching for that query.

Performing a New Search

...

       1.      Click the arrow to the right of the Show field and select the empty option to clear the field.

The Show field is now blank.

       2.      Click the arrow to the right of the Get field.

A dropdown list box appears.

       3.      Select a search criterion from the dropdown list box.

       4.      Enter another search criterion in the field to the right of the Get field, if necessary.

       5.      Click the Go pushbutton.

Result

The system displays the results of your search in the search result area.
