Changing Header Data in the Part Appraisal Document
Changes within an organization, for example as a result of objectives being realigned or other persons taking on the responsibility for a particular project area, mean that a different supervisor to the one originally planned has to continue or complete an appraisal cycle. Such changes may also mean that the validity period for a particular objective changes.
In the case
of such changes, you need be able to change the header data in the appraisal
document as appropriate.
Therefore, the SAP standard system provides BAdI implementations that allow
you to configure your SAP system so that you can change the header data in the
appraisal document, and thereby also change all the relevant data,
irrespective of the appraisal phase.
If you have integrated BAdI implementations in the appraisal template, a pushbutton is displayed in the appraisal document after you have accessed the Change Appraisal Document function. You can use this pushbutton to change the header or body data of the appraisal document.
You can change the following data:
· Appraiser
· Part appraiser
· Validity period of appraisal document
However, note that you cannot change the status of the appraisal document.
You must have defined a part appraisal process for the appraisal template on which the appraisal document is based.
1. At category level, ensure that the Changes to Part Appraisal enhancements, together with the relevant description Changes to Part Appraisers Before Appraisal and Changes to Part Appraisers During Appraisal, are selected on the Enhancements tab page.
2. In the appraisal template choose the enhancement area Changes to Header Data and one of the following entries on the Processing tab page under Further Template Behavior:
¡
Change Part
Appraisers During Appraisal
This
implementation enables the appraiser or part appraiser to change the part
appraiser for documents with the status In Planning or In Review.
¡
Change Part
Appraisers Before Appraisal
This
implementation enables the appraiser or part appraiser to change the part
appraiser for documents with the status In Process.
¡ Note that you can select only one entry. In doing so, you define the phase of the appraisal process in which changes to the header data may be made.
The (part) appraisers involved in the appraisal process can use the Change Appraisal Document transaction to access the appraisal document and use the Change Header Data pushbutton to change the header data or the Change Body Data to change the body data of the document.
The changes made are automatically updated in the part appraisal columns of the appraisal document.
