Sibuin Excel File 
An Excel file containing information about the accumulated buin and siin amounts on assets.
Before you first prepare the depreciation statements, for example, after you migrate from a legacy system, you create an Excel file with a list of your assets and with the accumulated buin or siin amounts.
Create the file as shown under Structure below, and to save it, choose Save As, and in the Save as type field, select Text (Tab delimited).
There are two ways of uploading the file into the system. You can either use the Sibuin Amount – Initial Update program, or you can wait until you prepare the statements the first time, and then enter the file name.
In subsequent years, the programs no longer require the Excel file, because the information about the buin and siin amounts is stored in the system itself, in the sibuin depreciation area. However, if you want, you can also use both sources, for example, if some of the asset values in the depreciation area are incorrect and you want to use an Excel file instead. The information in the Excel file overrides the information in the depreciation area.
When you prepare the depreciation statements, the programs can also create an Excel file with exactly the same information.
