Postprocessing Imported Objects 

Use

You check and, if required, update the permissions of imported objects. To do this, you:

·        Select objects for postprocessing (Select Objects).

·        Postprocess the objects (Edit Permissions).

You can decide yourself whether postprocessing of imported objects is required or not. To do this, you use the parameter devobj.after_import_processing in the GP service caf/eu/gp/model. For more information, see General System Configuration.

Prerequisites

You have imported a transport request from your local computer or an SAP System. For more information, see Importing Transport Requests

Procedure

Select Objects

...

       1.      Choose Add to select the objects for postprocessing. An overview displays all imported objects.

...

                            a.      Select the individual objects. It is not sufficient to select only the categories.

                            b.      Choose Next.

       2.      Check your selection and choose Next.

Edit Permissions

       3.      Select the imported objects. Check and, if required, change the user permissions assigned.

                            a.      Add new users or remove existing users (column Principal).

                            b.      Determine the permission scope (column Permissions).

       4.      Choose Save to save your settings.

       5.      Choose Release to end postprocessing.
