Transferring MIC Master Data from Third-Party
Systems
You can transfer the following types of MIC master data from a third-party system:
● Objects in the central process catalog (processes, process steps, and controls)
● Central management controls and groups
● Central account groups
● Controls specific to organizational units (copied, referenced, or created locally)
When the objects are transferred, all relevant attributes are included in the transfer.
You can see the required Web Services Description Language (WSDL) structure for the objects in the Integration Repository in namespace http://sap.com/xi/MICSOA.
For the transfer of controls specific to organizational units, the following prerequisites must be fulfilled:
● In the case of copied controls, the ID of the organizational unit and the ID of the assigned process must be specified in the message interface.
● In the case of referenced controls, the ID of the corresponding central control and the ID of the organizational unit must be specified.
● In both cases, the superordinate process must be assigned to the organizational unit.
The data is transferred using the message type InternalControlControlCatalogueNotification.
...
