Releasing an Appraisal Template for Productive Use 

Use

Before you can create an appraisal document from an appraisal template, you must release the appraisal template for productive use.

Prerequisites

You have performed the consistency check successfully for the appraisal template.

 
After you have released an appraisal template, you can no longer change it. You can only revoke the release, if the appraisal template has not yet been used as a template for an appraisal document.

Procedure

·        Position your cursor on the relevant appraisal template in the appraisal catalog structure. 

·        In the context menu choose Status ® Release.

Result

The status of the appraisal template is changed and you can use the template for productive use.

 
You can release each element in the appraisal template in this way. Note that all elements arranged below the selected element in the hierarchy are also released.
