Definition
You enter the hotel preferences of a traveler in infotype 0472.
Use
The infotype Hotel Preferences is only required in connection with SAP Travel Planning. It is not mandatory to create this infotype. You can enter some of the preferences for a traveler manually for each travel service availability query.
The traveler’s personal hotel preferences are sent by the SAP system to the hotel provider during the query for available hotels. These preferences are automatically applied by the hotel providers if capacities and other factors allow it.
If you run an
availability query when planning a trip, the available hotels or rental cars
in the list that match the preferences of the traveler are indicated with 
.

The infotype Hotel Preferences consists of entries regarding:
· Room preferences (such as nonsmoking room)
· Hotel preferences (such as a preferred hotel chain)
