Using this component you can calculate and pay out year-end bonuses during the payroll periods.

In Switzerland, there is no uniform law that regulates the payment of the year-end bonus(es). Thus, you can specify the times of payment and the amounts of the year-end bonuses through a company regulation. The bonuses do not have to be paid out at the end of the year. They can be paid out in installments (for example, one payment in June and another in November.)

Either the employee’s average wages from the current year or the employee’s wages from the current period can be used as a base for year-end bonuses.

Generally, a partial reserve is created with every payment period. This reserve is then paid out as year-end bonuses.
