Purpose
This component allows you to calculate and compensate a loss in pay due to reduced working hours. You can also use the report for the employer’s settlement with the cantonal unemployment insurance.
Implementation Considerations
Reduced working hours can occur due to measures imposed by governmental administrations or to other extenuating circumstances for which the employer is not directly responsible. A reduction in the expected number of customers due to bad weather can result in the reduction of working hours. This also falls under non-employer related reduced working time.
Two factors are decisive in classifying reduced working time as non-employer related. The reduced working time must be temporary and the work relationship between the employer and the employee remains in effect during the time of reduced working hours.
Integration
The component is a part of the Swiss payroll schema.
In Add. Org. Assign CH infotype (0039) you assign the employees affected by reduced working hours to the KUA company department. For this employee you can now record the reduced working hours in EE Remuneration Info infotype 2010.
