Tasks

This role provides a tool with which you can run searches, create evaluations, and check the status of processes in Industrial Hygiene and Safety.

Activities in the SAP Environment, Health and Safety Software

An industrial hygiene and safety professional would use the information system typically for the following purposes:

·         Obtaining information on work areas

·         Obtaining information on risk assessments

·         Creating a list of open industrial hygiene and safety measures that have not yet been completed

·         Creating a hazardous substance inventory (in accordance with German law)

·         Obtaining information and evaluating the incident/accident log (for example, 1000-employee quota)

·         Evaluating questionnaires and checklists (for example, for the company health report)

Notes on Tailoring

You can add individual transactions, reports, or other sources of information to the information system, and even create your own information trees. You make the necessary settings in the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Industrial Hygiene and Safety under Edit Information Tree.

MiniApps

You can use the MiniApp 1000-Employee Quota (IHS_STAT) to determine the 1000-employee quota from the data in the incident/accident log.
