Procedure documentation Creating Recipes with the Data for a Process Building Block Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

A process building block contains a complete process with all process elements. Since the process and the recipe reside at the same level in the hierarchy, you cannot copy a process building block to an existing recipe, as you would copy a process element building block. Instead, you can only create a new recipe with the data for an existing process building block. This procedure describes the latter.

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Process Element in the recipe workbench by double-clicking it.

       2.      Find the process building block with whose data you want to create a recipe, and transfer it to the navigation area.

The process building block is displayed under This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Process.

       3.      Under This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Process in the context menu for the process building block, choose Create Recipe with Data for Process.

The Create from Template dialog box appears.

       4.      Enter the required data and confirm your entries.

The system creates the recipe and opens the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Basic Data tab page in the recipe.

       5.      Enter a description for the recipe and other data if required.

       6.      Save your entries.

Result

You have created a recipe and copied the data for the process building block to the recipe. You can change the copied process data in the recipe.
