Posting-Relevant
Information in the Payroll Result. For
concurrent employment, as well as reading the information in this section, you
also have to note the following aspects.
If an employee has several groupings of personnel assignments for different payroll areas, the system creates several payroll results during the payroll run (one for each grouping). Each payroll result contains its own table RT_PERSON.
The wage types in table RT_PERSON are not directly linked to the organizational information about the employee. However, this information is needed for the following for posting to Accounting:
· Assigning costs for posting to expense accounts
· Determining company code and business area for posting to payables
· Evaluating employee grouping for account determination (feature PPMOD)
If you do not use concurrent employment, SAP R/3 takes the required organizational information from table WPBP (Work Place/Basic Pay), since in this case there is only one payroll result and therefore only one table RT and one table WPBP.
If you use concurrent employment, several payroll results can exist for one employee, and these can all have their own WPBP table with different organizational information. In this case, SAP R/3 uses the organizational information from table WPBP in the payroll result of the personnel assignment that is specified in table RT_PERSON for each wage type entry in the PostPerno field. Different personnel assignments can be specified for the wage type entries.
