...

       1.      The asset specific details for the securities account by choosing Securities Account ® Basic Functions ® Maintain Securities Account Details.

       3.      Implement the Business Add-Ins CMS_SEC_VAL_ONLN, CMS_SEC_BANK_ID and CMS_SEC_GET_ADD_DATA to import valuation, bank and class master data of the securities positions.

       4.      The required process control settings for the securities account by choosing Object Management ® Process Control.

Procedure

       1.      In the application menu of the Collateral Management workbench, choose CMS ® Set Org Units, to enter the main administration organizational unit and the bank area in which you want to create the new securities account.

       2.      In the Search Area of the workbench, choose the New tab and then select the object type Securities Account.

The Create: Securities account screen appears.

       5.      Select an existing depository bank identification using the search help on the field. You must enter an account number and a short description for the securities account.

Note

You can define depository bank identifications in the SAP application menu by choosing Collateral Management ® Securities ® Create Depository Bank.

       4.      Specify a currency for the securities account.

Note

You cannot enter the value for a securities account. This value is calculated internally by consolidating the market values of all the securities positions. You must however enter a currency for the securities account. In the event of a currency mismatch (with the securities positions), the system performs a currency translation to translate into the currency of the securities account.

       5.      In the Positions tab page, select an appropriate international security identification number (ISIN) and enter a serial number for the securities position.

       6.      To maintain the other details for the securities position, select This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Display item details. In the Position details tab page, enter the following details:

Nominal value of the securities position. Alternatively, specify the number of units in the securities position.

Note

You must maintain the price details in the price master data. For each securities position ISIN, you can maintain the price percentage and the unit price. To calculate the market value of the securities position, you must click on the This graphic is explained in the accompanying textValuate button. The following possibilities exist for calculation of the market value of the securities position:

If you enter the nominal value, the system applies the price percentage of the ISIN to calculate the market value.

If you enter the number of units, the system multiples the unit price with the number of units to calculate the market value.

Note

The value of the securities account is automatically updated.

Asset specific details such as lending rate, safety discounts and liquidation details.

The bank and country codes for the securities positions.

       7.      Enter the following additional master data:

On the Business Partners / Documents tab page, enter the required business partners and documents in the relevant partner functions and document types, respectively. Enter additional information such as ownership shares of business partners and the validity of the business partners and documents, if required.

If the securities position is a financed object, then enter the identifications of the receivable and its credit system.

       8.      Save your entries.

Note

The securities account number, currency of the securities account, ISIN of a securities position and the value or the number of units must be necessarily entered for a securities account. If a business partner function and document type are defined in the Customizing as mandatory, then you must specify the corresponding business partner and documents, respectively.

Result

A securities account is created with the account number that you have specified. The Overview tab page shows the relationships of the securities account with the other entity objects, business partners and documents. The Calculations tab page shows the calculated values for these relationships.

The class master data details are transferred from the external class master data system. The system uses the ISIN of the securities position as a reference, to copy the class master data for the securities position.

You can create charges on the securities accounts using the collateral agreement category Pledge and object type Pledge of Securities Account. In the Charges tab page of the collateral agreement, you must select the object type Securities account. Enter the charges details and the account number of the securities account. The depository bank identification is automatically shown in the corresponding field.
