Assessment, Distribution, Activity Allocation 
Costs that have initially been assigned to an allocation object in Cost Accounting, (such as a default cost center), and therefore also to a default business area, are later broken down by allocation keys to final recipients (such as cost centers). The allocation object is then relieved of the costs.
