When creating a new form in an aspect which was created before Release 4.0, you must first specify or change the data area. The data area determines the time frame in which the transaction data is stored, for example, in weekly or monthly values. Once you have saved the form, you can no longer change the data area.

When changing a form, you should be aware that it may already have been used in various reports. The change will automatically be made in all these reports. This is the case both for drilldown reports and for definition reports in the report portfolio. Changes to a form do not affect data reports in the report portfolio.
