Archiving and
Deleting Summarized JIT Calls
The programs RSUMJITC01 and RSUMJITC02 are available for archiving and deleting summarized JIT calls. When archiving summarized JIT calls, the header of the summarized JIT call, its items, any existing valuations (for materials managed in batches) and, if necessary, the corresponding entries from the dependency table for delivery are deleted. Data that has been deleted cannot be reloaded in the system.
The archiving program selects the summarized JIT calls and records them in archiving files.
You can create a separate variant for the archiving run and optimize it using the following parameters, for example:
● Plant
You can archive calls specifically for one plant.
● Residence time
The goods receipt date is recorded at header level for each summarized JIT call. The key date for archiving is calculated from the system date minus the residence time. If the goods receipt date of the summarized JIT call lies before or on this key date, you can archive the summarized JIT call.
● Summarized JIT call number
You can define that only the summarized JIT calls whose header numbers lie in a specific interval are to be archived.
● Vendor
You can define that only the summarized JIT calls created for specific vendors are to be archived.
● Creating an archiving file
You use this parameter to control whether an archiving file is to be created. If you do not create an archiving file, the system only creates a statistic which corresponds to the statistic that is created when creating an archiving file. The system does not create an entry in the archive management and the deletion program is not accessed. You use this parameter to start a test run to determine what exactly was archived.
● Test run
This parameter controls whether the automatically accessed deletion program is to run in the Test status.
● Only summarized JIT calls are archived which no longer have any relationship to a kanban, that is, no reference exists to the summarized JIT call in any kanban.
● The goods receipt for the summarized JIT calls have already been posted for all items.

The system creates one or several archive files.
The archiving program logs the process in the form of a list. On completion of the program, this list is either printed and/or saved in the spool according to your settings in the spool parameters.
You can access the processing log in the Job Overview (
) by selecting the executed job and choosing Display spool list (
). In the Spool list, you can select the
appropriate spool order and choose Display (
