Field Movements
A definition that defines how the data or fields are transferred to a database and totaled.
Field movements contain:
· Sender fields (dimensions of the source database)
· Receiver fields (dimensions of the receiver database)
A field movement key is assigned to each group of field movements.
You use the field movement to define which dimensions you use in the special purpose ledgers. You use these dimensions to define your special purpose ledger(s). You cannot define field movements for standard ledgers that are defined in other applications.

Naming convention: The first character of a field movement rule must be a letter (for example, R000, M000). If your system currently contains field movements whose name begins with a number, contact your SAP consultant.
You can also define whether CO information from FI/MM/SD is to be posted as actual or statistical data. You enter this information in the field movement.
For each field in the field movement, you can enter a standard exit that determines whether you want to transfer actual data only or also statistical data.

For the field Project, you enter a standard exit so that only actual data is transferred for this field.

For more information, see the “Standard Exits for Field Movements in FI-SL” Release Note.
You can define your own user exit programs. To do this, you have to define the name of the program in table T80U. If you do not change table T80U, the exit programs RGIFU000 and RGIVUXXX are used.
