Database Tables
Form of display for data in a relational database. The columns or database fields of the database tables in the SAP System are defined in the ABAP Dictionary. Each database table has a unique primary index and can have additional secondary indexes. Foreign currency relationships can exist between the individual database tables.
In the special purpose ledgers you can only create and use pool tables.
When you create database tables in the special purpose ledgers, you create them in the form of a table group. A table group consists of the following tables:
· Object table
· Summary table
· Line item table
SAP delivers various different independent database tables. However, these are just examples. You can copy the tables delivered by SAP and change them to meet your requirements.

You cannot use these database tables as they are delivered.

You can only define and use these table structures for special purpose ledgers. You cannot use them for standard ledgers that have been defined within another application.
